escape nurse burnout in bali

Selfish Nurse Reset | May 13-20, 2027

10 spots available

You know how to take care of everyone. Except yourself.

At work, you're the one who handles it. The impossible assignment. The extra shift nobody else would take. And when you clock out, you're still on. Overthinking about what you have may forgotten. While still showing up for everybody's goals, everybody's needs, everybody's everything.

But a whole day just for you? The guilt kicks in before you even finish the thought. So you stay in survival mode, nervous system on edge, telling yourself you'll rest after this stretch. You've been saying that for years.

Here's what nursing school never taught you: rest isn't something you earn. Being selfish on your days off is the only cure for nurse burnout. A bubble bath can't fix a nervous system this jacked up.

But a week of overdosing on self-care in Bali can.

itinerary

DAY 1 · Permission to Exhale

Land in Bali, private transfer to the jungle villa, and a welcome massage waiting. No schedule tonight. A full dinner will be waiting in the villa kitchen, ready whenever you are. No set time, no dress code, no pressure. Eat, exhale, and settle in on your own clock.

DAY 2 · Permission to Receive

Breakfast and your first Morning Shift, our daily mindset workshop over breakfast, where the real transformation happens. Today's theme is receiving. Then massages and yoga at the villa, lunch by the pool, and dinner out at my favorite spot in Ubud.

DAY 3 · Permission to Play

The Morning Shift over breakfast, then adventure: the famous jungle swing and the emerald rice terraces, lunch included. Home to the villa, where a private chef has dinner waiting. Evening massages close the day.

DAY 4 · Permission to Indulge

The Morning Shift, then a morning at the local market and a hands-on Balinese cooking class, ending in a traditional lunch you cooked with your own hands. An unhurried afternoon of spa treatments, then back to the villa for one more private chef dinner.

DAY 5 · Permission to Pivot

The Morning Shift and morning massages before we trade jungle for ocean, packed lunch for the road. Your first Seminyak evening is all yours: sunset on the sand, dinner at your pick of Seminyak's best.

DAY 6 · Permission to Belong

The Morning Shift, morning massages, a yoga class, and a beach picnic on Bali sand. Evening yours to explore.

DAY 7 · Permission to Protect

The Morning Shift, then a free day: pool, beach, your massage, zero agenda. We gather one last time for the farewell dinner.

DAY 8 · Permission to Begin

One last slow breakfast and a shorter, sweeter Morning Shift. Then checkout and your transfer to the airport, timed to your flight. Flying out later? Store your luggage with us and hang by the pool until it's time.

A note on this schedule: it will breathe. Days and details may shift with weather, availability, and what the group needs most. What never changes: the intention. Photo shoots happen throughout the retreat, wherever the light is best.

MEET YOUR HOST

Hey!

Hey, I'm Demi.

I understand nurse burnout because it stole four years of my life before I learned to be selfish.

I've been a nurse for 11 years, across four specialties and four states. Nights, weekends, holidays, the impossible assignments. I know exactly what it costs to be the one who always shows up. And I know what it takes to get your life back, because I had to figure it out the hard way.

That's why I built the Selfish Nurse Reset. This will be my fourth time in Bali and my second time hosting a retreat there. In 2024, I watched a group of nurses arrive exhausted and guilty, and leave rested, relaxed, and with permission they didn't have to ask anyone for.

I've spent six years helping nurses escape burnout, and everything I've learned points to the same cure: being selfish. My signature perfect day off formula teaches you how to start. This is the perfect week.

What your deposit does:

Locks your spot. Only 10 exist.

Locks your rate, even if the price goes up later.

Note: all payments, including your deposit, are nonrefundable. This protects the intimate size of the group and the nurses committed to being there. Because life does happen, travel insurance is strongly recommended, and you'll get a link to purchase coverage as soon as your deposit is placed. That way you're covered for the things nobody can predict.

Not included: flights, travel insurance, and anything you choose to explore during free time.

Applying is free and doesn't commit you to anything. If you're accepted, you'll have 48 hours to place your deposit.

After that, your spot goes to the next nurse. With only 10 and a waitlist behind you, holding spots wouldn't be fair to anyone.
